PhotoGrab - Image Downloader

PhotoGrab is a fast and efficient Chrome extension designed to help you discover and download all images from any webpage in just a few clicks. Whether you're a designer collecting inspiration, a researcher gathering visual data, or simply someone who wants to save multiple images without the tedious right-click-save process, PhotoGrab streamlines the entire workflow. With one click, PhotoGrab intelligently scans the entire page and detects images from multiple sources: standard <img> tags, CSS background images hidden in div elements, and direct links to image files. This comprehensive detection ensures you never miss any visual content, even those that aren't immediately visible on the page. The extension features smart filtering to help you focus on what matters. Enable the small image filter to automatically exclude icons, buttons, and other tiny graphics under 100x100 pixels, leaving you with only the high-quality content images you actually want to download. Each detected image is displayed with a thumbnail preview, dimensions, and alt text information, so you can make informed decisions about what to save. Download options are flexible: grab images one at a time with individual download buttons, or use the bulk download feature to save everything at once. The free version allows downloading up to 3 images per page, while PhotoGrab Pro (one-time payment of $8) unlocks unlimited downloads and includes a convenient ZIP packaging feature that bundles all images into a single organized file named after the source website. All downloads are automatically organized in a dedicated "photograb" folder within your Downloads directory, with intelligent filename handling that preserves original names, removes invalid characters, and handles duplicates gracefully. The extension works seamlessly with dynamically loaded content on modern single-page applications and respects image sources including data URLs and external CDN links. PhotoGrab now supports multiple languages (English, French, Spanish, and German), automatically detecting your browser's language preference for a localized experience. Built with privacy in mind, the extension only accesses the active tab when you click the scan button, requires no background permissions, and never collects or transmits any personal data.
