The file never leaves your computer. ■ Chinese and Japanese actually work Most PDF tools render CJK as blanks or garbage, because writing CJK into a PDF requires embedding a font — and most tools simply don't. This extension bundles Noto Sans and subsets it automatically: only the characters you actually typed get embedded, so a full page of Chinese adds a few dozen KB rather than several megabytes. Japanese kana and kanji use the same font. No setup. ■ Four steps 1. Drop in a PDF (or press Ctrl+Shift+P) 2. Type straight into the blue fields — built-in form fields are detected 3. No field there? Click "Add text", click the spot, type 4. Click "Save" to download Saved files get a -filled suffix.
