FILL LOGINS IN ONE CLICK • Click a username or password field to see the logins saved for that site, then pick one to fill it. • Or open PassVault from the toolbar (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+L) and fill from the list of matches for the current page — with separate searches for this site and your other websites. • Logins with extra fields (such as an AWS account ID) are filled completely. • Logins are filled only into the site they are saved for, and only when you choose to. SAVE NEW LOGINS • Optional: after you sign in to a website, PassVault offers to save or update the login — with a note if you like. Extra fields on the form are saved with it. • Or save the current page’s login from the popup. • “Never for this site” whenever you want. PASSKEYS • Optional: when a site offers to create a passkey, save it in PassVault, then sign in with it on any computer where you use PassVault. • You approve every passkey request in PassVault’s own window; “Use another device” hands it back to Chrome. PAYMENT CARDS • Fill checkout forms on secure pages in one click, or copy the number, expiry or security code. • Card numbers, security codes and PINs stay encrypted; lists show only the last four digits. STRONG PASSWORDS • Built-in generator for random passwords and passphrases. • Copy usernames and passwords; the clipboard is cleared automatically. SECURE BY DESIGN • End-to-end encryption (Argon2id key derivation, modern authenticated encryption). • Two-factor authentication required for every account. • Unlock with Touch ID on a Mac (with PassVault for Mac installed). • Auto-lock after inactivity; locking wipes keys from memory. • Works offline with your encrypted copy. • No tracking, no ads, no analytics. YOUR SERVER, YOUR CHOICE • Connect to your own PassVault server — self-hosted, under any address — and switch between several servers. Each server keeps its own sign-in and encrypted data. Also available: the PassVault web dashboard and the macOS app (SSH, environment files, secure notes, payment cards and more). Permissions: PassVault only reads web pages if you turn on “Suggestions in login fields”, “Offer to save passwords” or “Save and use passkeys” in Settings; otherwise it acts only on the page you’re on when you click it.
