The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Passly Password Manager
Passly is a secure password and API key manager for individuals and teams.
It helps you securely store, organize, share, monitor, and manage login credentials and other sensitive information in one encrypted workspace.
With the Passly browser extension for Chrome and Firefox, you can quickly access your saved credentials while browsing and organize them by organization, project, or product.
Passly is designed for individuals, teams, and businesses that need a simple and reliable way to manage sensitive credentials while maintaining clear ownership, access controls, and usage records.
KEY FEATURES
• Secure storage for passwords, login credentials, and API keys
• Organization and project-based credential separation
• Secure credential sharing with configurable access levels
• Scheduled API key monitoring with status and recovery notifications
• Audit logs for credential access and changes
• Quick access to saved credentials from Chrome and Firefox
• Support for individual users, teams, and businesses
• Optional Zero-Knowledge mode for enhanced data protection
API KEY MONITORING
Know the moment an API key stops working.
Passly checks the API keys you select on a schedule and tells you what went wrong, so you hear it from us before a failing integration causes a bigger problem.
CHECKED EVERY 15 MINUTES
Each monitoring check uses a free, read-only request to the provider. Nothing is created, nothing is charged, and the check does not consume your paid usage quota.
KNOW WHAT ACTUALLY BROKE
A revoked key, insufficient credit, a rate limit, a timeout, and a provider outage are different problems.
Passly identifies the reason and notifies you by email and inside the app. You also receive a notification when the key becomes healthy again.
YOUR KEY STAYS PRIVATE
Your API key is never written to logs, emails, notifications, or job queues.
Provider responses are sanitized before storage to remove anything that resembles a password, token, API key, or other secret.
MONITORED PROVIDERS
• OpenAI
• Anthropic
• ScreenshotOne
• More providers coming soon
Each provider is implemented as a separate monitoring handler. Support for new providers can therefore be added without affecting the existing integrations.
MONITORING STATUSES
• Healthy
• Invalid key
• Insufficient credit
• Rate limited
• Provider unavailable
• Timeout
API keys protected with Zero-Knowledge encryption cannot be read by Passly’s servers. Monitoring therefore remains unavailable for those keys unless you explicitly exclude an individual key from Zero-Knowledge protection.
ZERO-KNOWLEDGE MODE
When Zero-Knowledge mode is enabled, your vault is encrypted using a key derived from a separate password known only to you.
Passly stores only encrypted data and cannot read your original passwords or sensitive information.
• Passwords, usernames, notes, and API keys are stored as unreadable encrypted data.
• Your Zero-Knowledge password never reaches Passly’s servers in a recoverable form.
• You can choose to remember the encryption key on your device or remove it whenever the browser is closed.
• Even if the entire database were exposed, your protected credentials would remain unreadable.
• Zero-Knowledge mode is fully reversible and can be disabled without losing your existing data.
Passly protects sensitive information with encryption and helps teams manage credentials with better structure, visibility, ownership, monitoring, and access control.
Install the Passly browser extension for Chrome or Firefox and manage your personal passwords, API keys, and team credentials more securely and confidently while browsing.
