The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About PageStitch – Full Page Screenshot
Capture a full page screenshot of any webpage, or just the visible area, a selected area, or one element — free. PageStitch automatically scrolls and stitches the entire page into a crisp PNG that never leaves your device.
Use PageStitch when you need a scrolling screenshot for documentation, design review, QA, receipts, research, or any other long page. During screen capture, PageStitch measures the selected entire webpage, captures each viewport, and joins the pieces into one long-page PNG.
What PageStitch does:
- Captures full-height pages and pages wider than the browser window
- Opens a local preview of the finished image
- Downloads the result as a PNG
- Copies the PNG when Chrome and the operating system permit clipboard access
- Processes and stores captures only on your device, with no account and no uploads
- Opens its capture menu with a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+S by default), changeable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts; press Enter for a full page
- Captures the visible area, a selected area (drag past the screen edge to select more), or a single element, and can wait 3 or 10 seconds before a full-page or visible-area capture
- Names the downloaded file automatically from the site and page title, with the date and time
- Crops a single-image capture losslessly, now from the editor's Crop tool, with undo/redo
Free editor. Crop, draw arrows and shapes, highlight, write text, add emoji, blur private details, stamp the page's site and date, and add a watermark — all free, with no account, on your device.
Save as PDF. One long page, A4, or US Letter, with smart page breaks — even huge captures become a single PDF.
Clickable links and page numbers in PDF. Resize the crop box with handles, press Ctrl+C (⌘C on Mac) to copy, add padding around the image, and stamp the date in ISO format — all free.
PageStitch has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, cloud storage, or remote code. Captures are temporarily held in extension-owned browser storage. A single-image capture is deleted as soon as the result page has rendered it; a capture split into several PNG parts is kept while its result tab is open and deleted when you select Close or Capture another. Leftover records, such as those from a result tab closed from the tab strip, a failed render, or a crash, are deleted once they are 24 hours old, when the extension next starts or saves a capture. The site name and page title are kept with the local capture only to name the downloaded file and to title a PDF you save. To make links in a saved PDF clickable, PageStitch also keeps the addresses of links on the captured page, which can include the page's own address; these link addresses stay with the capture on your device, are deleted with it, are never transmitted, and are written into a file only when you save a PDF with Clickable links turned on. A small count of successful captures is kept in extension-owned local storage to decide when to show one optional review-or-support message; the count never leaves your device and is deleted when PageStitch is removed. The editor also remembers your last editor settings (color, sizes, fill, blur strength, emoji, padding, date format, and watermark text, position, and opacity) and your PDF settings (page size, clickable links, and page numbers) in local storage on this device; this is never transmitted and is deleted when PageStitch is removed.
Chrome system pages, the Chrome Web Store, other extension pages, and non-HTTP(S) pages cannot be captured. Keep the source tab active until capture finishes. Pages with continuously changing layouts, nested custom scrollers, or very large dimensions may not stitch perfectly.
