PageFluxer turns the page you are viewing into a cloud monitor. Choose what matters, select the whole page or a specific element, and set your alert conditions. WHAT YOU CAN WATCH • Page content: get alerts when text changes, starts containing a phrase, or stops containing a phrase. • Prices: watch for price changes, decreases, or a price crossing below your chosen amount. • Availability: find out when a stock label changes to available or unavailable. • New items: detect new linked articles, jobs, announcements and listings, optionally matching a phrase. Use automatic item detection or watch every link in your selected area. • Visual changes: compare screenshots of the whole page or a selected region, including an image or chart. Adjust visual sensitivity and noise controls on PageFluxer. • Combined conditions: use supported combinations such as “in stock AND below $20,” evaluated from the same cloud capture. SELECT RIGHT ON THE PAGE Click “Select on page,” hover over an element, and click to choose it. Use Alt + Up to move to its parent container, or Escape to cancel. Add up to three content targets to a draft. Let any rule trigger an alert, or require all supported conditions to be true. Visual monitoring uses its own whole-page or single-region selection. Whole-page content and new-item monitoring do not require an element selection. Selections made in the extension carry into PageFluxer, where you can verify the cloud result without picking the same element again unless it needs correction. PREPARE THE PAGE WITH RECORDED ACTIONS Need to apply a filter or run a public search before capturing the page? Expand “Prepare the page” and record supported clicks, non-sensitive text entry, dropdown choices and checkbox changes. Stop recording, select the resulting content, and continue to PageFluxer. Review, edit or reorder the steps, add loading waits or limited scrolling, and test cloud replay before saving. Recording performs actions on the real website. Never record passwords, payment details, purchases, private searches or confidential information. CHOOSE YOUR WORKSPACE AND PAGE ACCESS Sign in on PageFluxer and choose the workspace where the monitor belongs. Shared monitors use that workspace’s permissions and allowances. For a supported page that requires sign-in, select “This page requires sign-in,” then choose an approved workspace site connection on PageFluxer before the cloud preview. The extension does not import your browser’s login, cookies or passwords. Signed-in monitoring requires a separate connection configured on the PageFluxer website. MONITORING HAPPENS IN THE CLOUD Scheduled checks run on PageFluxer, even when Chrome is closed. The extension helps you create monitors; it does not perform ongoing checks in your browser. The cloud may see different content from your browser. Review the cloud preview before saving to confirm that it captures what you intended. Some websites restrict automated access or contain content PageFluxer cannot capture. FINISH SETUP ON PAGEFLUXER Choose your check schedule and finish setup on the website. Manage email, webhook and supported team-channel notifications from monitor details. Advanced capture controls, visual noise settings, no-change alerts, AI features and AI consent are managed on PageFluxer. Availability depends on your plan and the type of monitor. Authenticated captures are excluded from AI processing. A PageFluxer account is required to save and run monitors. Sign in on the website; no API key is needed. Open email sign-in links in the same Chrome profile to keep access to your draft. The extension is free to install. The extension does not request blanket access to all websites, browser history or cookies. It does not collect background browsing activity and has no extension analytics. When you continue, your chosen URL, title, selectors, alert settings, short selected-text excerpts and explicitly recorded actions and values are handed to PageFluxer. Marking a page as requiring sign-in omits selected-text excerpts; the other draft details are still shared. COMPATIBILITY Works with Chrome desktop. Selection and recording inside embedded frames or shadow DOM are not supported. Chrome settings pages and other protected browser pages cannot be selected. The extension does not bypass CAPTCHAs or website access restrictions.
