The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Page Notes
Page Notes lets you keep notes attached to the websites you visit. Open the popup on any site to see the notes you wrote for that domain, or add a new one in seconds.
WHY PAGE NOTES
• Notes per website — a note written on github.com shows up on every github.com page.
• All notes in one place — browse notes grouped by site, or add global notes.
• Fast fuzzy search — across titles, text, #tags and domains; typos are fine.
• Simple formatting — bold, italic, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, checklists, quotes, code and links, with a live preview.
• Light and dark themes — a calm, distraction-free design.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your notes are stored only in your browser. No account, no cloud, no tracking.
• The extension makes no network requests and collects no data.
• It only reads the address of the current tab when you click the toolbar icon, to know which site you are on.
PORTABLE
• Export all notes to a JSON file with one click.
• Import that file into Page Notes on any Chromium browser — Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera.
• Merge keeps both sets (the most recent edit wins); Replace restores a backup exactly.
Tip: notes live only in this browser, and uninstalling the extension deletes them. Export a backup from the Backup tab from time to time.
