PaceShift gives every video on the web a precise speed control that stays out of your way and never quietly fast-forwards a live stream. SPEED, YOUR WAY • Any speed from 0.25× to 16×, on a slider that keeps 1× easy to hit • Click the number to type an exact speed: 1.75, 2x, 150%… • One-click presets you choose yourself • Show speeds as multipliers (1.5×) or percentages (150%) A SPEEDOMETER FOR YOUR VIDEOS Pick the slider that suits you, including a live speedometer dial with a springy needle, a glowing color band and sparks that fly faster the faster you go. Hit top speed and it runs a victory lap. Choose the needle, the band thickness, the number font and colors to make it yours. LIVE STREAMS AND MUSIC STAY AT 1× PaceShift detects live streams on any site that plays live video, and holds them at 1× so you never drift away from the live edge by accident. Slowing down still works, and you can allow speed-ups per site. Music gets the same care: on music sites such as Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube Music, and on YouTube videos in the Music category, songs stay at 1× so they never sound distorted. You can turn this off in Settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN PaceShift has no accounts, no analytics and makes no network requests. Your settings stay in your browser, and sync only through your own Chrome account when Chrome sync is on. It asks for access to all sites only so it can find and control the videos on the pages you visit.
