Control web video and audio without leaving the page. OtterTap puts playback, volume and speed in a toolbar popup, with a floating volume controller at the edge of the page. • Play or pause, seek, and skip backward or forward 10 seconds. Choose which media to control when a page has several players. • Boost compatible media up to 200%. A limiter reduces clipping, and a toolbar badge shows when volume exceeds 100%. • Use speed presets up to 4× by default. Add, remove and reorder presets in settings. • Optionally lock playback speed when a site resets it. Off by default; locking stops after repeated conflicts. • Open supported videos in picture-in-picture from the popup. • Use browser extension shortcuts for playback, skipping and mute, plus on-page Alt+Shift shortcuts for volume and speed. View current bindings in settings. • Find other audible or muted tabs, switch to them, or mute and unmute them. • Remember volume and speed for chosen sites and restore them on your next visit. • Enable the extension on all sites, selected sites, or all except excluded sites. Choose a light, dark or system theme. Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French and German. The interface follows your browser language. No account required. Settings stay in your browser. OtterTap does not upload webpage information and contains no analytics or advertising. Open source under GPL-3.0. Compatibility: works with supported HTML video and audio on ordinary webpages. Browser internal pages and pages that block extensions are not supported. Some cross-origin media cannot be boosted above 100%. Picture-in-picture and playback speed depend on browser, media and site support.
