OtoPosi

Every sound, right here. OtoPosi is a free browser extension that lets you control tab volume and mute in one place. When several videos or streams are open, adjust their volume without switching between tabs. All features in the extension are free, and it works without the Windows app. The OtoPosi Windows app also offers its basic features for free. Connect the two to manage browser-tab and Windows-app volume together in the Windows app. Main features • Control volume and mute per tab, and mute or unmute all managed tabs • Select a title or artwork to jump straight to the source tab • Use Previous, Play/Pause, and Next on supported media • Synchronize standard tab mute state in Chrome, Edge, and Vivaldi • See how loud each tab is playing with a live meter inside its volume bar • Adjust each tab's left/right audio position and turn Sound position on or off for all managed tabs • Detect standard video and music automatically; switch to Tab audio to control audio from the whole tab, including games • Boost compatible in-page media and Tab audio up to 200% Sound position adjusts the left/right audio balance to match the browser window's position. When several streams or videos are playing, balance their volume and left/right audio position to make each source easier to distinguish. Display and everyday use • Use a compact popup or the wider side panel • Show titles and artwork from Media Session-compatible sites • Switch between Dark and Light themes, choose Japanese or English, and optionally show the active tab first For quick access, pin or show OtoPosi on the toolbar from the browser's extensions list. The first-run guide and Options show the same steps. Windows app integration and Pro The Windows app's basic features are free. Additional features, including sound position control, are available through the one-time in-app OtoPosi Pro upgrade. All features in the extension, including sound position and boost, are free. Privacy and data handling Tab titles and URLs, playback state, window position, volume settings, and audio are processed only on the device to provide OtoPosi's features. To restore previous volume, boost, and mute state for the exact full URL, OtoPosi stores SHA-256 matching keys generated on the device from the full URL and origin, volume and boost state, mute state for the exact full URL (true/false), tab pin and order position, and update times. Full URLs themselves are not stored in this history. Volume and boost use an exact full-URL match first and fall back to the same origin; mute is restored only on an exact full-URL match and never uses origin fallback. Audio is not recorded or stored, and tab information, settings, and audio are not sent to developer servers, advertising services, or analytics services. When the optional Windows app is connected, required information is exchanged only on the same PC.
