About Order Expense Tracker for Amazon
Amazon doesn't show how much you spend each month. This extension does.
It reads the order history you already see on Amazon (Your Orders) and keeps a running total by month, entirely inside your browser. Works with amazon.com (US) and amazon.com.mx (México), each with its own currency, totals and budget.
WHAT YOU GET
• This month, last month, and year-to-date totals
• A 12-month bar chart. Click a month to see its orders.
• Each order's date, total, item names, and a link back to it on Amazon
• Cancelled orders are left out automatically. Returned or refunded orders are flagged, and one checkbox includes or excludes them.
• Set a monthly budget. A progress bar shows how much you have left.
• Get a warning at checkout when an order would take you over budget, with the numbers and a "Back to cart" button. It never blocks the purchase.
• Export everything to CSV for your budget spreadsheet
TWO WAYS TO FILL IT IN
1. Just browse. Every Your Orders page you open is recorded.
2. Sync. Pick a year (or all years) and the extension pages through your order history for you, pausing between pages. It stops if Amazon asks you to sign in.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no servers, no analytics. Your order data is stored only in Chrome on your computer.
• The extension only runs on the order history and checkout pages of amazon.com and amazon.com.mx.
• Remove the extension, or click "Clear data", and everything is deleted.
Works with amazon.com (US) and amazon.com.mx (México), in English or Spanish.
