Orchard for Meet

Orchard for Meet saves every Google Meet call you join to your Orchard Meeting notetaker, so you can come back to what was said and decided. No bot joins your calls. The extension reads Google Meet's own live captions in your browser tab, keeps them off your screen, and sends each line to your private Orchard room. When the call ends, Orchard saves the transcript and posts a summary. HOW IT WORKS • Join a Google Meet call as usual. Notes start automatically. • A small Orchard badge, visible only to you, shows that notes are being taken. Stop or resume for any meeting from the badge. • When you leave, close the tab, or the host ends the call, the transcript is saved and a summary appears in Orchard Studio within about a minute. • Ask your Meeting notetaker anything later: "What did we decide about pricing?" Answers point back to the meeting they came from. SET UP IN TWO STEPS 1. Install this extension. 2. In Orchard Studio, open Meeting notetaker, click Connect this browser, and paste the token into the extension's settings. DESIGNED TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Nothing is posted to the meeting, and no participant joins on your behalf. • The badge hides while you share your screen from Google Meet; notes keep going. • The toolbar icon stays the plain Orchard logo. PRIVACY • Only the caption text, speaker names shown by Meet, and the meeting title and code are sent, and only to your own Orchard account. • Transcripts are private to your account. Delete a meeting, revoke a browser, or delete the whole room at any time in Orchard Studio. • The extension never reads your screen share, audio, video, or other tabs. GOOD TO KNOW • Requires a free Orchard account. Summaries and search use your monthly Orchard usage allowance. • Notes follow the caption language set in Google Meet (Settings → Captions → Language). • Transcript accuracy depends on Google Meet's captions. • Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and other desktop Chromium browsers. Calls joined from a phone or the Meet app are not captured. • You are responsible for following the recording and consent rules that apply to your meetings.
