About OPEQ Wallet (Devnet)
OPEQ is a Solana wallet that does not depend on Ed25519 for your funds.
Every Solana address today is an Ed25519 public key. A large enough quantum computer could turn that public key into the private key. opeq keeps your funds in a program-controlled address instead, and every transaction is authorized by a one-time hash-based signature (WOTS+ under a Merkle tree) that the opeq program verifies on chain. Hash-based signatures rely only on SHA-256.
What you can do
- Create a wallet with 24 recovery words, or recover one
- Send and receive SOL and SPL tokens
- Swap through a Raydium pool, with one quantum-safe signature for the whole swap
- See how many one-time keys are left and move to a fresh key tree with one click (your address stays the same)
How it works
- Your words and keys are created in your browser and never leave it. The wallet is encrypted with your password.
- Network fees are paid by a small fee key that comes from the same 24 words. It only pays fees and has no power over your wallet. Your wallet tops it up automatically.
- Use your words in one place at a time. If you recover the wallet elsewhere, choose "Use on this device" and the other copy stops signing.
Important
- This is a devnet beta for testing. Never send real SOL to it.
- The on-chain program has not had an external audit yet.
- opeq never asks for your recovery words. Only type them into an opeq Recover screen.
