On a second thought…

Online stores spend billions making spending frictionless. On a second thought… puts a little friction back, a short, calm pause between wanting something and paying for it, so the decision is made by you and not by the impulse. When you are about to place an order above a threshold you set, it gently intercepts: > A cooling off timer with a soft breathing blob to slow down with. > The price shown in YOUR units, hours of your work, or lattes, or whatever you choose. > sums, a sliding puzzle, a dino run, or simply breathing. > Then: walk away and keep the money, park it for later and decide with a clear head, or proceed if you really mean it. > It keeps a quiet ledger of what you almost bought and how much you kept, a parking lot for things to reconsider, and a breakdown of the categories you are most tempted by. > Everything stays on your device. No account, no server, no tracking, no ads. Your data syncs only through your own browser, and you can export or erase it anytime. Made with love by the non-consumer.
