About OmniFlows: Web Highlighter, Tags, Notes & AI Review
OmniFlows
Capture Knowledge. Stay in Flow.
Turn your browser into a seamless extension of your mind.
OmniFlows is built for researchers, students, and deep thinkers who refuse to let great ideas slip away. It goes beyond traditional web clippers—helping you capture insights instantly and transform them into lasting knowledge, without ever breaking your focus.
【Why OmniFlows?】
Eliminate Distractions Completely
With a floating toolbar and shortcut-based actions, you can highlight and take notes instantly while reading—without leaving the page or switching tabs—perfectly preserving your state of flow.
AI-Powered Knowledge Internalization
Built-in AI deep review identifies themes in your captured content, extracts key insights, and helps you build hidden connections between ideas.
Cross-Platform Brain Sync
Native support for Notion, Obsidian, and Google Drive. Capture once, sync instantly—turning your note-taking system into a real-time extension of your web research.
Privacy & Control
Supports local AI models, and all data synchronization is handled directly via API connections to your personal accounts—no intermediary servers—so your research notes always remain fully under your control.
【Integration Guide: Seamlessly Connect Your Knowledge Base】
To ensure the best automated sync experience, please note the following when configuring Obsidian and Notion:
1. For Obsidian Users:
Required Plugin
OmniFlows communicates with Obsidian via API. You must install and enable the Local REST API community plugin in Obsidian.
Connection Setup
Make sure the API key you provide is correct, and that Obsidian is running.
Path Permissions
If you’ve customized the storage folder, ensure that the folder already exists within your vault.
2. For Notion Users:
Critical Step: Share the Page
After creating an Integration in the Notion developer dashboard, you must go to the target page or database in Notion, click “Add connections” in the top-right menu, and manually select your Integration. Without this authorization, the extension will not be able to write data.
Database Setup
It is recommended to use the “auto-create” feature provided by OmniFlows to generate a structured database that matches its standards (including tags, source links, media fields, etc.).
