About Nur | Qur'an in new tab
Nur inspires you with a verse of the Qur'an every time you open a new tab, beautifully framed against the serene backdrop of nature. As you browse the web, you are constantly reminded of the profound teachings and beauty of the Qur'an and the creation.
🌙 Light & Dark Mode: Choose a soft, bright look or a calm, darker one, or let Nur match your system. Each mode has its own collection of nature photos, chosen to leave space for the verse.
🖼️ Your Own Wallpaper: Set any photo from your computer as the background. It stays on your device and is never uploaded.
✨ Focus Mode: Enable this mode to focus on verses from a specific Surah. Open Settings from the menu in the bottom right and select a Surah, and Nur will display verses from that Surah to aid in your memorization efforts.
📖 Show Transliteration: Easily enable transliteration to aid in reading and recitation of the verse.
🔗 Shortcuts: Access your bookmarks or most visited websites directly from the new tab for convenience.
💬 Help or Suggestions: Share ideas or report a problem right from the menu. Every message is read.
🔒 Private: No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your settings stay on your device.
