Nourish: YouTube Focus & Video Speed Control

Nourish makes YouTube less distracting and gives you fast keyboard control over video playback speed across websites. Hide YouTube Shorts, the home feed, recommended videos, comments, live chat, end screens, and other distractions you choose. Keep the parts of YouTube you use, turn off autoplay, and focus on the video you came to watch. WATCH WITH FEWER DISTRACTIONS • Hide the YouTube home feed and Shorts, including links to Shorts pages. • Choose whether to hide recommendations, comments, live chat, playlists, notifications, and end-screen suggestions. • Hide promotional shelves and unwanted navigation sections. • Disable autoplay and annotations. • Change individual options instantly from the toolbar popup. CONTROL VIDEO SPEED WITH YOUR KEYBOARD • B speeds up, V slows down, and R resets to normal speed by default. • Customize each shortcut and choose 0.25×, 0.10×, or 0.05× increments. • Adjust supported HTML5 videos from 0.25× to 16×, subject to player support. • See a brief speed readout on the video. • Optionally remember your speed for new videos. • YouTube works automatically. Enable other websites individually through a browser permission prompt. • Use site inclusion and exclusion lists within your allowed sites. Embedded players may also need access to their own domain. YOUR SETTINGS, YOUR CHOICE Use Nourish's dark or light popup to choose what to hide and where speed control works. Switch everything off with one power button. Shortcuts are ignored while typing in text fields and editors, and modified keyboard shortcuts are left alone. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED Nourish is free and works without signing in. It has no analytics or external backend and does not send your browsing activity to the publisher. Preferences are stored in browser extension storage and may sync through your browser if browser sync is enabled. GET STARTED Install Nourish, reload any video tabs that were already open, and open its toolbar popup to adjust your preferences. YouTube distraction controls apply to YouTube; video speed shortcuts work automatically on YouTube. To use another website, enter its domain in the popup, click Enable, accept the browser permission prompt, and reload its video tabs. Remove optional site access from the popup whenever you choose.
