Notion Vault — Local Backup for Notion

Notion Vault backs up your entire Notion workspace to your local hard drive as clean markdown files. One click from your browser toolbar — no account creation, no cloud storage setup, completely free. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Click the Notion Vault icon while on notion.so 3. Your workspace downloads as a zip file to your computer 4. That's it. Your backup is on your hard drive. FEATURES • One-click backup from browser toolbar • Incremental backups — only changed pages after the first full backup • Scheduled auto-backup (set it and forget it) • Clean markdown output with human-readable filenames • Databases exported as CSV • Images and media downloaded locally • Folder structure mirrors your Notion workspace • Progress indicator with page count YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR MACHINE Unlike cloud backup services, Notion Vault never sends your data to a third-party server. Your workspace goes directly from Notion to your hard drive. No middleman. No cloud storage to configure. WHY NOTION VAULT? • Notion's built-in export: manual, slow, messy UUID filenames, full dump every time • Cloud backup services: monthly subscription, data routes through their server • Notion Vault: one click, local only, clean output, incremental, free PRIVACY Notion Vault uses your existing Notion browser session to read your workspace. It does not collect, store, or transmit your data to any server. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
