The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Noterra
Noterra is a lightweight alternative to Gmail CRM tools like Streak — no pipelines, no deal stages, just a note, tags, and a follow-up date for whoever's email thread you have open.
WHY NOTERRA
Full CRMs make you set up pipelines and deal stages for every contact, even when all you actually need is "who is this, what did we last talk about, when do I need to follow up." Noterra does exactly that, and nothing else.
HOW IT WORKS
• Open any email thread in Gmail
• A side panel shows a note field, tags, and the date you were last in touch with that person
• Type a note or add a tag — it saves automatically
• Notes are tied to the sender's email address, so the same note shows up no matter which thread of theirs you open
• A searchable contact list lets you find and review anyone you've added a note for, without needing to dig through old emails
WHAT IT'S NOT
Noterra is not a sales pipeline, not a deal tracker, and doesn't try to replace a full CRM. If you need forecasting, stages, or team reporting, tools like Streak or HubSpot are a better fit. If you just need to remember who someone is and follow up on time, Noterra is lighter and faster to use.
PRIVACY
Noterra only reads the sender's name, email, and message date from the thread you have open — it never reads email content or sends anything to third parties beyond your own notes. Full privacy policy: https://sarthakuwar.github.io/noterra/privacy.html

A couple of notes on using it:
- Chrome Web Store's description field is plain text — the • bullets render fine, but avoid markdown **bold**/# since those won't format.
- The "Summary from package" field above it (pulled from manifest.json) is already decent for keywords (mentions Gmail, notes, tags, follow-up) — I'd leave it as-is unless you want to work in "CRM" there too, which would mean a small manifest edit + repackage before you can resubmit.
