The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About note to Markdown
## A browser extension that turns your note.com articles into Markdown files
Convert articles you've written on note.com into `.md` files you can use in Obsidian and other editors.
Open an article, press the button, and you get a file complete with the body text, images, tags, publish date and like count.
On top of that, for articles written by **the account you're logged in as**, it can also record the **page view and impression counts** that only exist in note's dashboard. (These aren't available for other people's articles.)
Useful for backing up your articles, prepping them to feed to an AI, or managing them in a note-taking app. No sign-up, no payment. Works on desktop Chrome / Edge.
### What it does
**Convert the article you're reading, as is**
Just press the icon. You can also paste an article URL instead.
**Copy, or save to a folder**
Register up to 5 destination folders. Re-converting overwrites the file, so they don't pile up.
**Three ways to handle images**
Link to note's URLs (default) / download and reference by relative path / embed as Base64
**Writes metadata into the frontmatter**
Title, URL, author, publish date, like count, view counts, tags, and more. You can choose which keys are written and rename them to match your own conventions.
**Refresh the numbers in saved files later**
Bring like, page view and impression counts up to date in one go.
**Convert in bulk**
Pick article links on the page and convert them. On listing pages you can select them all.
### Also
One-click tag sets / turn chosen words into `[[wikilinks]]` / keep it open in the side panel / import and export your settings / Japanese and English UI
### Changelog
**2026/10/14** New!! Per-key frontmatter control (rename keys, turn output on and off)
**2026/10/09** New!! Page view and impression counts / Upd!! Publish date now recorded down to the second
