The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About NotbadBookmark
Find your links. Keep your bookmarks organized.
NotbadBookmark replaces Chrome’s default bookmark manager with a clean interface for searching, organizing and backing up your bookmarks.
SEARCH AND FILTER
• Search bookmark titles, URLs and folder names.
• Search all bookmarks or a specific folder, with optional subfolders.
• Combine keyword, domain and tag filters.
• Match all selected tags or any selected tag.
• See folder paths so you know where each result belongs.
ORGANIZE YOUR LIBRARY
• Create, edit, rename and move bookmarks and folders.
• Add tags, rename them globally or merge them.
• Switch between list and grid views.
• Use light and dark themes.
• Select matching bookmarks for bulk actions.
DELETE WITH RECOVERY
• Review item counts before deleting.
• Save a local recovery snapshot before removing bookmarks.
• Restore deleted bookmarks, folders and their tags.
• Choose another destination if the original folder no longer exists.
IMPORT AND EXPORT
• Export JSON backups with folders, empty folders, ordering and tags.
• Import and export browser-compatible bookmark HTML.
• Export Markdown for reading or sharing.
• Preview imports and choose how to handle duplicates.
• Export everything, a folder or selected items.
• Review partial results if an import is interrupted or cancelled.
LOCAL BY DESIGN
NotbadBookmark has no account, analytics or developer-operated backend. It uses local placeholder icons rather than requesting third-party favicons.
Bookmarks remain in Chrome’s native bookmark store and may sync according to your Chrome settings. Tags, recovery snapshots and import reports stay local to the browser profile.
IMPORTANT
Recovery creates new bookmark IDs and creation dates. Chrome bookmark changes and local metadata are not one atomic transaction. If an operation is interrupted, inspect its report before retrying.
Export a JSON backup before uninstalling or clearing extension data. Markdown is a reading copy, not a full backup format.
