The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About No More Tabs
Drowning in tabs? No More Tabs gives you a fast, keyboard-first command
palette to clean them up.
β¨οΈ ONE PALETTE FOR EVERYTHING
Press Cmd+Shift+X (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+X to open the palette. Type to
filter, arrows to navigate, Enter to act. The status bar always shows
exactly what Enter will do.
π SITES β every open site with its favicon and tab count.
β’ Close all tabs of a site
β’ Group them into a Chrome tab group
β’ Keep only the latest tab
Use β β to pick the action.
π TABS β every tab, most recently used first.
β’ Switch to a tab (Cmd+Shift+Space opens the palette in this mode)
β’ Close it, or duplicate it
β‘ SLASH COMMANDS β type / for global operations:
β’ /dedupe β close duplicated tabs (same URL)
β’ /single β keep one tab per site
β’ /group β one tab group per site
β’ /ungroup β remove all tab groups
β’ /merge β move all tabs into one window
β’ /domain β group sites by main domain (mail.google.com + docs.google.com
β google.com)
β¨οΈ ADDRESS-BAR AUTOCOMPLETE
Type "v" and the palette completes "vnexpress.net" inline from your open
tabs and the sites you visit β Tab or β accepts. (No history permission:
the extension learns hostnames locally as you browse.) If a URL isn't open, an Open row
creates the tab (terminal-style completion: "github/foo" β
https://github.com/foo). Autocomplete can be disabled in Preferences.
π ALWAYS SWITCH TO EXISTING TAB
Keep a list of sites (e.g. your mail or chat app) that should never open
twice: navigating to them focuses the existing tab instead, loading the
link you clicked.
π±οΈ Prefer the mouse? Everything is also in the right-click menu, with
per-site close items showing live tab counts.
π SAFE BY DESIGN
β’ Pinned tabs are never closed, grouped, or moved
β’ The active / most recently used tab always wins
β’ 100% local β no data leaves your device, no analytics (see privacy
policy)
