About NeoDM Integration
NeoDM Integration sends your browser downloads to NeoDM, a free, open source download manager for Windows.
Install it if your downloads fail halfway, crawl, or end up scattered across your Downloads folder. NeoDM splits each file across up to 32 connections, resumes it after a restart or a lost connection, and saves it in a folder that matches its type.
What the extension does
- When you start a download, NeoDM takes it over. A small window asks whether to start now, add it to a queue or schedule it, and shows the save folder, which you can change.
- NeoDM sets the file name and extension, so the file opens without renaming.
- On a page with a video or audio file, the extension lists what it found. Each entry shows a thumbnail, a title and the length, so you can tell which one you are downloading.
- Right-click a link or a video to send it to NeoDM.
- You choose which kinds of files NeoDM takes over. You can pause the extension for one site, or for all sites until you close the browser.
Requirements and privacy
The extension needs the NeoDM app for Windows 10 or 11 and does nothing without it. Download the app at https://github.com/unlimitedera/NeoDM/releases/latest
The extension talks only to the NeoDM app on your own computer. It does not send data to a server. NeoDM receives your sign-in cookies only if you turn that option on. Privacy policy: https://github.com/unlimitedera/NeoDM/blob/main/PRIVACY.md
Limits
NeoDM cannot save DRM-protected or segmented live streams. It does not take over downloads started in private windows.
