The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Nagara Wallet
Nagara Wallet is a self-custody wallet for the Nagara network. It holds an
encrypted seed on your own device, connects to decentralized apps, and signs
and broadcasts only the transactions you approve.
What it does
- Create or import a wallet, and hold several wallets at once. Each has its
own address and balance; some are derived from your main recovery phrase,
others have a seed of their own.
- View your NAGARA and MINAR balances, and your transaction history.
- Send NAGARA and MINAR, with the network fee estimated before you confirm.
- Connect to dApps through the standard EIP-1193 provider, announced via
EIP-6963. A site learns your address only after you approve that site by
name, and you can revoke any site later from Settings.
How your keys are held
Your recovery phrase and private keys are encrypted with your password using
PBKDF2 and AES-256-GCM, and stored only in this browser's local extension
storage on this device. They are deliberately not placed in sync storage,
which the browser replicates to your other devices. Your password is never
stored, and your recovery phrase is never transmitted.
What leaves your device
Your wallet address goes to the Nagara chain nodes whenever a balance is read
or a transaction is broadcast. That is not optional - a wallet cannot reach a
blockchain without it. Optionally, and only if you agree, your address is also
sent to the Nagara indexer so transactions made outside this extension appear
in your history; that is off unless you turn it on, and can be switched off
again at any time. There is no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or
advertising code in this extension.
You are asked about all of this once, before the wallet is set up.
Please note
This version opens on Nagara testnet by default.
