MYSALAH (Muslim Prayer Reminder)

**Prayer Presence** is a Chrome browser extension designed to help Muslims stay mindful of daily prayer times through subtle, non-disruptive visual reminders while working on their computer. Unlike traditional prayer reminder apps that rely on loud notifications or audio interruptions, Prayer Presence uses ambient visual effects that gently appear on the user’s screen when it is time for salah. The goal is to create a calm, respectful, and productivity-friendly reminder experience that integrates naturally into a user’s workflow. The extension calculates accurate daily prayer times based on the user’s location and selected prayer calculation method. Users can personalize how reminders appear by choosing from multiple visual notification styles, such as soft screen-edge glow effects, lantern-inspired ambient lighting, subtle particles, and other calm visual overlays. Users can also customize which prayers they want reminders for and configure pre-prayer notifications. Key features include: • Accurate daily prayer time calculations based on location and recognized Islamic calculation methods • Silent visual reminders designed to avoid disrupting work, meetings, or study sessions • Multiple customizable reminder styles and visual themes • Optional pre-prayer reminders before each salah • Prayer tracking and daily progress indicators • Lightweight Chrome extension experience with simple setup and minimal system interruption • Personalization settings for reminder appearance and timing preferences Prayer Presence is intended for Muslims who spend significant time on their computers and want a respectful, modern, and distraction-free way to remember prayer times throughout the day. The product is distributed digitally through the Chrome Web Store and may include optional premium customization features in the future.
