MV3 Download Manager

A simple, effective download manager for Chrome (MV3). This extension updates the browser’s download icon based on current download status: Blue: Default, cleared downloads, or cancelled downloads Yellow: Download in progress Green: Download complete Features: Dark Mode support Finnish and English language support for localized UI. The artwork showcases the default english localization in dark mode. Changelog: Version 9.8 - New download icons (August 3rd 2026): - You may now choose to show the amount of downloads from settings, enabling this option will change download logo to "Filling Arrow" mode. Due to icon clearance constraints in Classic Mode. Version 9.8.3 - Automatic WEBP to PNG converter functionality removed (August 21st 2026): - Sadly, I had to take out the automatic WEBP to PNG conversion function here, as it was causing issues with some sites, ex: Sites not loading. Or loading slowly/incompletely. ⚠️ Manifest V3 Limitations Due to limitations and bugs in Chromium's Manifest V3 extension system, this extension may sometimes fail to load the popup or background scripts after install, update, or browser restart. **If the popup is blank or doesn't work/hangs:** 1. Try closing and reopening the popup. 2. Try restarting your browser. 3. If it still doesn't work, remove and reinstall the extension. Although there are cases when even that might not resolve issues. > **Note:** This is a Chromium/Manifest V3 issue and affects many extensions. There is currently no guaranteed fix. If you are affected, please report the issue to Google via [this Chromium bug link](https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1213177). Thank you for your patience! Note: This extension is based on "Downloads Pro" by Ner Karso (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/downloads-pro/lhhocifdmhogpekeppdjamkelohahbop). Which I originally converted to MV3 in December of 2024, with added download status color indicators.
