mTrans - Bilibili Realtime Translation

Watch Bilibili videos with Vietnamese or English translations displayed directly in the video player. mTrans reads the available Chinese or AI-generated subtitle track on a Bilibili video, sends subtitle text to Gemini for translation, and displays the translated cues in sync with playback. It can prepare upcoming cues in advance and cache translations locally to help reduce waiting when subtitles appear or when you revisit a cue. **Features** - Translate available Bilibili Chinese subtitles into Vietnamese or English. - Display translations directly in the Bilibili player. - Follow the source subtitle timing, with an adjustable sync offset. - Prepare upcoming subtitle cues in advance and cache translated results locally. - Choose a prefetch window to balance preparation and translation requests. - Use a high-contrast subtitle overlay designed to remain readable over video. **Getting started** 1. Install mTrans and open its settings. 2. Add your Gemini API key. 3. Open or reload a Bilibili video that has an available subtitle track. 4. Choose Vietnamese or English and start watching. **Requirements and limitations** - A Gemini API key is required. - The video must provide a usable Bilibili human or AI subtitle track. mTrans does not currently transcribe audio or create subtitles when no usable track is available. - Translation quality and timing may vary with the source subtitles and the translation service. mTrans is an independent extension by Monik Studio and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bilibili or Google.
