MindRecall: Search your browsing history with AI

MindRecall helps you instantly find pages you’ve already visited — even when you only remember the idea, not the exact words. Instead of digging through browser history, you can ask naturally: * “the article about Rihanna’s suspect” * “that page about tariffs from last week” * “what happened in 1992” * MindRecall uses on-device AI to understand meaning and surface the most relevant results from your own browsing history. Why MindRecall * Search by meaning, not just exact keywords * Recover pages you remember vaguely * Jump directly to the most relevant part of a page * Works in a clean side panel while you browse How it works 1. MindRecall captures visible page text from pages you visit 2. It creates local embeddings in your browser 3. You search in natural language 4. Results are ranked by relevance and recency 5. Clicking a result opens the page and highlights the matching text (when supported) Key features * Natural-language semantic search * Exact phrase search with quotes (e.g. "billing cycle") * Smart result snippets with highlighted matching terms * Duplicate visit aggregation (shows visit count + last seen) * Local AI inference (no cloud AI calls for search) * Side panel interface for fast, continuous use Privacy-first by design * Search and AI inference run locally on your device * Browsing content is not sent to external AI APIs * Optional anonymous analytics are used only to improve product quality (installs, search counts, return usage, and yes/no helpfulness feedback) * Privacy policy: https://shadowed-bumper-0b1.notion.site/Privacy-Policy-331b0315f7188083b253f14197a0a599 Who it’s for Anyone who reads a lot online and wants to quickly “recall what they saw”
