Mercari JP Finder

Unlock the full potential of your shopping with Mercari JP Finder! Many listings on Mercari US are imported from Mercari Japan (Mercari JP) with a significant markup. This extension helps you find the original item, see the real price in Japan, and calculate exactly how much you’re paying for convenience. Key Features: - Original Listing Discovery: Automatically identifies and links the original Mercari JP or Rakuma listing from a US item page. - Live Price Comparison: Converts JPY to USD in real-time based on current exchange rates. - Markup Analysis: Calculates the "Convenience Gap" including estimated shipping and service fees, showing you the true total for importing vs. buying local.* - Seamless Integration: Adds a clean, non-obtrusive dashboard directly onto the Mercari US product page. Stop wondering if you're getting a good deal. Use Mercari JP Finder to shop smarter and save money on imported goods. I personally recommend Sendico as it's been a great service for me since I first discovered them in 2017! If you like this app and find it useful then please consider using my referral link for Sendico: https://sendico.com/referral/techphan Updates/Fixes 05/11/26 - v1.3.2 - Mercari does not appear to support auctions via Sendico(and likely other proxy services) so I've updated the button to indicate that bidding can't be done. Auctions aren't listed on Mercari US, but it's possible someone may just browse Mercari Japan directly anyway so it's worth updating to reduce possible confusion. Updates/Fixes 05/08/26 - v1.3.1 - The extension wasn't activating on some Mercari listings that use "shops" instead of "item" in the URL. Updates/Fixes 05/04/26 - v1.3 - Updated the calculation to include proxy fees - Changed calculation box and font color to green - Added user selectable options to exclude shipping and proxy fees in the calculation - Added a button on Mercari Japan to be able to open a listing to Sendico. This opens my affiliate link and then immediately opens the listing. - Added user selectable option to disable my affiliate link when opening a listing. Updates/Fixes 05/01/26 - v1.2.1 - Added a menu that explains the extension runs in the background and added a link to my webpage! Updates/Fixes 04/26/26 - v1.2 - The extension was attempting to load on every Mercari listing instead of just Japanese listings. v1.1 - Initial release
