About MD Slides
MD Slides turns any local Markdown (.md) file you open in Chrome into a clean, GitHub-style document or a slide deck.
FEATURES
• GitHub-style rendering with syntax-highlighted code blocks
• Slide mode: each top-level heading (H1) becomes a slide
• Live reload: edit your file in any editor and the view updates automatically
• Folder browsing: navigate between Markdown files in the same folder
• Export to standalone HTML or PDF
• Works entirely offline. Your files never leave your computer.
HOW TO USE
1. Open chrome://extensions, find MD Slides, and enable "Allow access to file URLs".
2. Open any .md file in Chrome (File > Open, or drag it into a tab).
3. The file renders automatically.
PRIVACY
MD Slides does not collect, store, or transmit any data. All rendering happens locally in your browser.
