The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About MarkHub - Lightning-Fast Bookmark Manager
MarkHub is a local-first Chrome bookmark manager built for fast retrieval, privacy, smart capture, and bookmark health review.
It syncs with your native Chrome bookmarks and indexes them locally, allowing you to search by title, URL, domain, normalized URL, folder path, notes, tags, saved quotes, and captured page metadata.
Quick Retrieve brings bookmark search into Chrome's Side Panel, so you can find and open saved pages without leaving your current tab. Use the configurable keyboard shortcut or the Side Panel button in MarkHub to start searching. Quick Retrieve supports keyboard navigation and focused filters such as tag:, folder:, and domain:.
Smart Capture lets you save the current page with useful context. Choose a Chrome bookmark folder, add notes and tags, and preserve selected text as a searchable quote. For an existing bookmark, you can update its context or move it to another folder.
MarkHub also helps you maintain a healthier bookmark library by detecting duplicate links, reviewing unopened or stale bookmarks, and scanning saved links for pages that may be broken or no longer reachable.
