Marketplace HELP

Marketplace HELP adds local tools for comparing Facebook Marketplace listings. Favorites, finalists, notes, and saved searches stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded. This extension is not affiliated with Meta or Facebook. The controls appear on Marketplace pages after you install it. There is no toolbar button. Mark any listing as a favorite, a finalist, or undesired. A favorite adds a gold glow and moves to the front right after the finalists. Finalists move to the front of the results, cheapest first, then starred cards, also cheapest first. If a finalist later shows as sold or the listing is taken down, it appears under No longer listed next to your saved searches, with its photo and title, so you can tell what you lost. An undesired listing stays in place until you choose Hide undesired, and that switch stays on until you turn it off, including after a refresh. Your marks stay saved either way. Save a search phrase and open it again later without retyping it. If that search has a min or max price, those values are saved with the phrase and applied again when you click it. Open a listing to write a note about it, and use Zoom detail image to pan and zoom the photos at full size. Once you have opened a listing, its card in the search results shows how many photos it has, how many times you opened it, and how long it has been listed. The listed time keeps counting up when you come back to a saved search, so you can tell at a glance what is new and what has been sitting. If a price later changes from the last time you saw that listing, a drop is shown in dark green bold and an increase is shown in red bold with the previous price beside it. Those colors appear only for that change; a later visit at the same price is shown normally. On a listing, a caution panel appears when the public seller details are worth a second look: a new account, no reply history, a missing or low rating, or many other listings from the same seller. It reads only what Facebook already shows on the page, and it is never saved. A slim progress bar runs along the top of the window while Marketplace loads more results. Photo counts, view counts, and listed times are stored on this device and removed if you uninstall the extension.
