MapCombiner

Merge multiple Google Maps routes into one continuous link — bypassing the 10-stop limit — right from your browser toolbar. This extension is the official companion to mapcombiner.travel-tracker.org, a free tool that lets you chain multiple Google Maps directions links together into a single shareable URL with no stop limit. ──────────────────────────────────────── FEATURES ──────────────────────────────────────── 🔗 COMBINE MULTIPLE ROUTES Paste two or more Google Maps directions URLs into the popup, click Combine, and get a single merged link in seconds. All waypoints from every route are joined in order with duplicate overlap detection. ➕ ADD AS MANY ROUTES AS YOU NEED Start with two inputs and add more with the "Add Route" button. There is no limit on the number of routes you can combine. 📋 ONE-CLICK COPY Copy the combined URL to your clipboard instantly. Paste it into any chat, email, or document to share your multi-stop journey. 🗺️ OPEN DIRECTLY IN GOOGLE MAPS Click "Open Maps" to launch the combined route in Google Maps in a new tab — ready to navigate. 🔍 PARSE IN MAPPARSER Click "Parse" to open the combined route in MapParser, extracting all waypoints with coordinates for CSV or KML export. 📜 ROUTE HISTORY Every combined route is saved locally so you can reload and reshare previous journeys without re-entering the URLs. History persists across browser sessions. 🖱️ RIGHT-CLICK TO COMBINE Right-click any Google Maps link on any webpage and select "Combine with MapCombiner" to open it in the full site. Works on selected text too. 🌐 ON-SITE ENHANCEMENTS While browsing mapcombiner.travel-tracker.org, a floating history button shows your saved combined routes. Click any entry to reopen it in Google Maps. ──────────────────────────────────────── WHY INSTALL THIS EXTENSION? ──────────────────────────────────────── Google Maps limits directions to 10 stops. If you have a long road trip with 20, 30, or more stops, you have to split it across multiple links. MapCombiner merges those links back into one, so you can share the full journey as a single URL. Perfect for: • Road trippers with more than 10 stops • Tour operators sharing multi-day itineraries • Travel bloggers documenting long-distance routes • Anyone who has hit the Google Maps 10-stop wall ──────────────────────────────────────── PRIVACY ──────────────────────────────────────── This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All route combining is done entirely client-side in the browser — no URLs are sent to any server. Route history is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API and never leaves your device. ──────────────────────────────────────── ABOUT THE WEBSITE ──────────────────────────────────────── mapcombiner.travel-tracker.org is a free, modern web and mobile app featuring: • Unlimited route combining with no stop cap • Automatic overlap detection between routes • Instant copy and share of the combined URL • Route history with local persistence • Available as an iOS and Android app Visit the full site for the complete interactive experience: mapcombiner.travel-tracker.org.
