If you read manga online, you probably already have a bookmarks folder full of chapters. Manga Next turns that folder into a release tracker. Bookmark the chapter you stop at. The extension finds the series, looks up its release history and shows you where you are, what the latest chapter is, and when the next one should come out, in plain words like "weekly, usually Tuesday". When a new chapter is published you get a badge and a notification, and one click takes you to it. The folder keeps itself tidy. When you bookmark a newer chapter, the old bookmark goes to a bin instead of cluttering the list, and you can get it back for 60 days if you need to. If you read on your phone too, a synced bookmark opens the same list there. Bookmark where you stop on the phone and it shows up on the computer. There is more for when you have a minute. A reading page shows what comes out this week, which series you could catch up on tonight, which finished ones are worth a binge, and which ones you've been neglecting. A news page collects manga headlines and puts the ones about your series first. There's an auto-scroll shortcut for long chapters. If you've read everything, one click moves the bookmark to the latest chapter. If the list gets long, just start typing. Manga Next has no account, no sign-in and no tracking. The only thing that ever leaves your browser is a series title, sent to Comick and MangaUpdates to look up release dates. It works with any reading site and comes in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese, in light or dark to match your system. If it matches a series wrongly you can pick the right one from a list, and if something breaks, the settings page opens a bug report with the technical details already filled in.
