Mail Checker for Yandex Mail

Shows the number of unread Yandex Mail emails right on the browser toolbar and notifies you the moment new mail arrives. No need to keep the mail tab open: the counter refreshes itself as often as every 30 seconds, and the extension window opens your inbox in one click. WHAT THE FREE VERSION DOES • Unread counter, mail in folders included — always visible on the extension icon • Notifications about new emails • Optional sound alert — three sounds, adjustable volume • Badge color of your choice • Check interval from 30 seconds to 5 minutes • Popup window or side panel — whichever suits you • Works through your existing Yandex session — no sign-up, your password is never seen or stored WHAT PRO ADDS • Counts your mailboxes even when you are signed out in the browser — it does not depend on which account is selected in Yandex • A list of recent emails right in the extension window: sender, subject, time • Message text and “Mark as read” / “Delete” buttons right in the notification • Up to 3 mailboxes at once — personal and work mail side by side Try Pro free for 10 days — no card required, nothing is charged automatically. After that it is 129 ₽ per month or 990 ₽ per year. Cancel anytime with one click in the extension settings; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. FAQ Notifications don’t appear — what should I do? Almost always Windows is blocking notifications for the browser. Open the extension settings and press “Check” next to the notifications option — it tells you right away whether the browser was allowed to show one. Step-by-step fix with screenshots: ymc.launchapps.ru/faq#notifications How do I turn on the sound? Open the extension settings, enable the sound alert, pick one of the sounds and set the volume — the ▶ button plays it right away. Why do I need to be signed in to Yandex Mail? The free version reads the counter through your current mail.yandex.ru session — if you are signed out, the icon shows “!”. Pro connects through official Yandex authorization (OAuth) and works independently of your tabs. The counter does not match my mailbox — why? With several Yandex accounts signed in, the free version counts the one currently selected in Yandex. Switch accounts in Yandex and the counter follows. A tab opened by a direct link to a specific mailbox does not affect the counter. The popup names the mailbox it counted and links to the Yandex accounts page to switch it. Pro counts exactly the mailboxes you connected. Where does my data go? In the free version — nowhere: requests go directly to Yandex. In Pro our server processes data in transit only and never stores your mail. Details: ymc.launchapps.ru/privacy Questions and suggestions: ymc.launchapps.ru/feedback Unofficial extension.
