The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Luftr Loudness Meter
Measure the audio delivered by a browser tab, window, or shared screen in a focused, broadcast-inspired meter.
Luftr Loudness Meter displays:
- Momentary, Short-term, and Integrated loudness in LUFS
- Loudness Range in LU
- true peak and maximum true peak in dBTP
- left/right channel level meters
- zoomable history with target and tolerance band
- EBU R 128 and ATSC A/85 presets
- clearly labelled streaming, podcast, and music reference targets
- light and Night View interfaces
- a locally generated Export Card
For standards-oriented programme measurement, select **Session** and leave **Dialogue Focus** off. Rolling integration windows are monitoring conveniences. Dialogue Focus is an experimental local speech gate and is not a standards-compliant programme-loudness mode.
Privacy is simple: audio is analysed locally and is not recorded or uploaded. The extension has no telemetry, analytics, advertising, accounts, or cloud service. Only user preferences are stored locally.
Luftr Loudness Meter measures the audio supplied by the browser capture path. Browser or operating-system mixing and resampling can affect the signal. The extension is a standards-oriented production aid, not a certified laboratory instrument.
