About Loot Captain
What's new in 0.5.1
- Refresh character gear from a remembered, user-selected inventory file with read-only access.
- Prevent deleted profiles from being recreated by delayed imports and avoid stale editor errors.
- Improve RaidLoot wishlist synchronization while preserving unrelated entries.
- Correct dual-wield Damage/Delay and secondary-slot comparisons.
- Improve class-specific armor-token variants, wishlist handling, and wanted-item labels.
Compare EverQuest gear before you spend raid time or currency.
Loot Captain helps you:
- Import worn gear from a public RaidLoot profile or an EverQuest /output inventory file.
- Manage multiple character profiles and choose your scoring formula.
- See upgrade, downgrade, and per-stat differences on RaidLoot and OpenDKP.
- Compare stats, augments, spell focus effects, weapon procs, and Damage/Delay ratio.
- Handle paired ear, wrist, and finger slots automatically.
- Save a local wishlist and highlight wanted items.
- Fill in missing item stats from public RaidLoot pages.
Profiles and settings stay in browser-local storage. Optional inventory file handles are stored locally in IndexedDB for read-only refresh; inventory files and file handles are never uploaded. Public RaidLoot profile, item, and class lookups support imports and comparisons. Loot Captain has no account, analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code.
