LogoFade: Gemini Watermark Remover

LogoFade removes the visible Gemini watermark — the small star in the bottom-right corner — from images you downloaded from Gemini. Everything happens on your own device, inside your browser. Your image is never uploaded. HOW TO USE IT 1. Click the LogoFade icon in your toolbar. 2. Choose an image, or drag and drop one into the window. PNG, JPEG and WebP are supported. 3. Check the preview, then download the result. You can download the cleaned image as PNG, or in the same format as the file you started with. If the popup is too small for you, click "Open in a tab" to use LogoFade in a full browser tab. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • It restores, it does not guess. Gemini blends a semi-transparent logo onto the corner of the picture. LogoFade reverses that blend mathematically to recover the pixels underneath. It does not paint over the corner, blur it, or fill it in with AI. • Only the watermark area is touched. The rest of your image is left exactly as it was. • It checks its own work. After removal, LogoFade verifies that no trace of the logo is left. If a clean result is not possible, it tells you why instead of handing you a damaged image. • It works offline. Once installed, the extension needs no internet connection. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No uploads. Your image never leaves your device. The extension makes no network requests at all. • No permissions. LogoFade asks for no browser permissions and cannot read the pages you visit. • No account, no sign-up, no email. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads. The extension collects no data. WHEN IT WORKS BEST LogoFade is built for original Gemini downloads — the file exactly as Gemini saved it. It may not work on images that have been: • resized or scaled, • screenshotted instead of downloaded, • cropped so the corner is gone, • re-compressed or edited by another app, or sent through a chat app that compresses images. In those cases the watermark no longer matches Gemini's original, so it cannot be removed exactly. LogoFade will show a clear message explaining what went wrong, such as "This image was resized after Gemini exported it", so you know to go back to the original download. If the watermark sits on a very dark part of the picture, removal is less precise. LogoFade will either warn you to zoom in and check the corner, or decline if the result would not be clean. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not remove SynthID, the invisible watermark Google embeds in Gemini images. LogoFade only removes the visible logo. • It does not process video. This extension is for images only. • It does not remove watermarks from other tools or stock photo sites. TROUBLESHOOTING • "No Gemini watermark was found": the image may not come from Gemini, may already be clean, or may have been cropped. • "Your browser altered the image pixels": a privacy setting or a canvas fingerprint protection extension is changing the image data. Turn it off and try again. • "This image is too large for the browser to process": the picture is beyond what the browser can handle in memory.
