The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Local Reading Library
PathMark helps you save, recognize, and organize web pages in a local browser library using collections, notes, and stable site endpoints.
A Site can contain multiple domains or URL prefixes. When a source changes domains or moves a path, the same resource can retain its saved identity.
Key features:
• Open the extension on a recognized site to save the current page immediately. See its site, path, and collection, and change the collection in the compact result view.
• Give collections custom colors and recognize saved pages by the toolbar icon color.
• Optionally mark already saved links on web pages. Enable this in Settings and grant website access once. Matching happens locally, without hiding page content or changing links.
• Organize pages with notes, tags, nested collections, and optional reading states.
• Move items to an existing or new site, add an editable domain or path prefix, and merge duplicate resources.
• Search, filter, archive, and bulk delete saved items.
• With your permission, read browser bookmarks or import bookmark HTML, choose folders and domains, and map collections and sites before importing.
• Export or import the complete library as JSON.
PathMark is local first. There is no account, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics, or telemetry in the extension. Library data remains in your browser profile and is not transmitted to the developer or third parties. Saved-link marking is optional and off by default; turning it off removes the markers and releases website access.
