About Live Meeting Translation & Captions for Google Meet, Zoom, Teams — Trippi

Understand every meeting — in your language, in real time. Trippi is a live translator for online meetings, and it works inside your browser. It turns a video call into translated subtitles: start it in a Google Meet, Zoom (web) or Microsoft Teams (web) tab, pick the language you hear and the language you read, and follow the call in your own language while people keep talking. WHAT YOU GET • Live translation for Google Meet — on a free or personal account, no Workspace plan needed. • Translate a Zoom meeting in the browser, with real-time subtitles over the call. • Microsoft Teams live translation, including free and personal accounts. • A subtitle translator for any other video call — any tab with sound works, not only Meet, Zoom or Teams. • Dual subtitles when you want them: the original line and its translation together, or the translation alone. • Captions only you can see. No bot joins the meeting and nothing is announced to the other participants. WHY TRIPPI IS DIFFERENT • It listens, it doesn't scrape. Trippi captures the meeting audio and runs its own speech recognition instead of re-translating the platform's own captions. That means sharper subtitles — and it works where the platform offers no translation at all. • One job, done properly. A meeting translator tuned per language pair — 68 of them, and no language is on the list for the sake of the count. The speech has to be heard correctly and the translation has to hold: a language that only half works never makes the list. • Private by design. The audio is never recorded and never sold — it becomes your captions and nothing else. The transcript of what was said stays in your own browser, and it leaves only to reach you: when you press Summarize, or as the after-call email if you are signed in and have it switched on. Nothing about the meeting is stored on our side either way. • No admin, no meeting bot, no setup. Add to Chrome and press Start captions. AFTER THE CALL — NOTES IN YOUR LANGUAGE Every call goes into a meeting log you can reopen later: your last 50 meetings, kept in the browser on your own machine. • A full transcript with speaker names — every line of the call, not just the last few still on screen, the original and its translation side by side. • Bilingual meeting notes: read the call in your language and check the original wording whenever a sentence matters. • A meeting summary in your language, not the language of the call. Press Summarize and you get the recap: what was decided, the action items and who owns them, the questions left open. Built only when you ask for it. • Export a transcript or the meeting minutes as .txt or Markdown, or copy them straight into your notes. Delete any meeting in one click. WHY NOTES IN YOUR LANGUAGE ARE A DIFFERENT THING An AI note taker writes the notes in the language of the call. When the meeting ran in a language you barely follow, notes in that language are simply one more thing to translate — and a summary of a transcript you could not read is a guess on top of a guess. Trippi hears the call, translates it as it goes, and builds the transcript, the notes and the recap in the language you chose to read. What you keep after the meeting is already in your language. EVERY OTHER CALL THAT RUNS IN A BROWSER TAB Trippi captions the sound of the tab, so it never needs to know which site the call is on. • Webex translation — live subtitles over a Webex meeting in the browser, with no host setup. • Discord translation — translate a Discord voice chat or a stage, and read it in your language. • Whereby translation and Jitsi translation, both straight from the tab. • Slack huddle translation — translated captions over a huddle in Slack for the web. • Translate a Skype call, a BlueJeans room or a Google Chat call the same way. • WhatsApp Web translation — translate a WhatsApp call at web.whatsapp.com, which has no captions of its own. • Messenger translation and Telegram Web translation, for calls that run at messenger.com and web.telegram.org. • Translate a webinar, a conference call, a town hall, an online class or a lecture — anything with sound in the tab. On Google Meet, Zoom and Teams the subtitles are labelled with who is speaking; everywhere else the speakers are numbered instead. WHEN IT EARNS ITS PLACE • Team meetings, daily standups and one-to-ones with colleagues abroad. • Webinars, conference calls and all-hands where you are the only person who needs a translation. • Online classes, lectures and training sessions held in a language you are still learning. • Job interviews, sales calls and customer calls, where one missed sentence is expensive. • Any video call where you would rather read the sentence than guess it. Trippi is not a human interpreter and doesn't pretend to be one: the interpretation is automatic, it arrives while the sentence is still being spoken, and it costs nothing to start. LANGUAGES 68 languages, in any direction: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hindi, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Bulgarian, Bengali, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Greek, Estonian, Persian, Finnish, Gujarati, Hebrew, Croatian, Hungarian, Indonesian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Marathi, Malay, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Serbian, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Vietnamese, Afrikaans, Assamese, Belarusian, Bosnian, Armenian, Georgian, Macedonian, Mongolian, Nepali, Norwegian, Punjabi, Pashto, Filipino (Tagalog), Urdu, Azerbaijani, Welsh, Basque, Galician, Kazakh, Kannada, Malayalam, Albanian and Swahili. For example English to Spanish, English to Russian, English to Portuguese, or Japanese to English. HOW TO USE IT 1. Add Trippi to Chrome. 2. Open your call in Google Meet, Zoom (web) or Microsoft Teams (web) — or any other tab that plays sound. 3. Click Trippi and choose the language you hear and the language you read. 4.
