About ListingLens
# ListingLens — Chrome Web Store Listing Copy v1.5.2
## Extension name
ListingLens
## Short description
Find listing gaps and return-risk signals in Amazon reviews — get title, bullet, image-text, and ad-angle fixes.
## Detailed description
ListingLens helps Amazon sellers extract listing content and visible customer reviews, then turn them into evidence-based listing improvements.
FREE — DATA CAPTURE
• Extract listing titles, bullets, descriptions, and product details
• Capture visible customer reviews from Amazon product/review pages
• Paste additional reviews manually if Amazon limits what is shown
• View data quality and export captured listing/review data
• Check up to 10 different products per day at no cost
PRO ($39/MONTH) — AI ANALYSIS
Pro users can run AI-powered listing analysis using their own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key. The AI report finds expectation gaps, return-risk signals, review-backed objections, and copy opportunities. Insights are tagged by source — listing, review, or inferred — and include confidence guidance.
Pro output includes title options, rewritten bullets, image-text ideas, ad angles, and a 6-dimension listing score covering Clarity, Trust, Differentiation, Expectation Match, Conversion, and Return-Risk. Pro also removes the daily product limit and includes 150 AI analyses per month.
BRING YOUR OWN AI KEY
Pro analysis uses your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key. Your key is stored locally in your browser and is sent only to the AI provider you choose. ListingLens does not receive or store your AI API key. Google Gemini may offer a free tier depending on your account, region, and Google’s current policy.
ACCOUNT SAFETY
ListingLens only reads visible page content from pages you choose to open. It does not log into your Amazon account, access Seller Central, automate purchases, bypass review limits, or collect Amazon credentials. For competitor research, we recommend using a separate buyer-only browser profile.
WHO IT IS FOR
Amazon private label sellers, POD/custom product sellers, listing copywriters, and small agencies that want a focused way to turn review signals into listing copy decisions.

## Single purpose description
ListingLens analyzes Amazon product listing content and customer reviews visible in the user's browser, then helps Pro users generate AI-assisted copywriting suggestions such as titles, bullets, image text, ad angles, listing gap analysis, and return-risk signals.
## Permission justifications
- storage: Save extracted listing/review data, user settings, selected AI provider, locally stored API keys, reports, and usage counters in the user's browser.
- activeTab: Read listing and visible review content from the Amazon tab the user has open, only when the user clicks an action button in the popup.
- scripting: Inject the content script into the active Amazon tab to extract page data when the user clicks an action button.
- alarms: Schedule delayed steps for optional Advanced Auto Collect. This feature is off by default and requires explicit user opt-in.
- tabs optional_permissions: Requested at runtime only if the user explicitly enables Advanced Auto Collect. Core features do not require this permission.
- Amazon host permissions: Required to run on supported Amazon product and review page domains. ListingLens does not use all_urls.
- OpenAI/Gemini host permissions: Required so extension pages can send selected listing/review content directly to the AI provider selected by the user using the user's own API key.
