Listing Fidelity Scanner

One product. One truth. Listing Fidelity Scanner is a first-pass diagnostic for e-commerce product listings. Open a product page, click the extension, and it checks the listing content available in your browser for high-impact factual conflicts. Current checks include: • Load and capacity • Dimensions and size • Material • Product weight • Quantity and piece count • Electrical ratings including voltage, wattage, amperage, and frequency • Model and part numbers Current marketplace adapters include Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, and Alibaba, with additional support for product pages where usable listing information is available. A green scan does not mean the entire listing has been verified. Product images frequently contain dimensions, capacities, materials, quantities, compatibility claims, instructions, and other purchase-critical wording that is baked directly into the image. The browser scanner does not currently inspect that image copy. The scanner also cannot determine whether a listing is factually correct simply because the listing agrees with itself. A product can be described consistently across the page and still disagree with the manufacturer specification, technical drawing, manual, packaging, or other authoritative source data. That is why Listing Fidelity distinguishes between: Automated diagnostic: Finds supported conflicts in scannable listing content. Human verification: Reviews the complete presentation, including listing text, specifications, image copy, variants, and authoritative source data when available. If the scanner reports zero conflicts, we can manually verify that result. If it reports multiple conflicts, we can determine which are genuine listing problems and which are scanner noise. It does not modify the live listing and does not require your marketplace seller login. The extension does not collect seller passwords, authentication cookies, payment information, or browsing history. A narrowly scoped host permission is used for eBay’s separate seller-description frame so the extension can inspect product description content displayed there.
