When you paste text into a whitelisted site, Line Break Converter intercepts the paste, rewrites the empty lines with an invisible non-breaking space so the platform won't strip them, preserves runs of double-spaces, and inserts the result into the field for you — instantly, with no extra clicks. WHAT IT DOES • Preserves line breaks when pasting into Facebook posts, comments, and Messenger • Preserves line breaks when pasting Instagram captions and bios • Optional: automatically adds a blank line between paragraphs for that clean, readable promo-post look • Preserves multiple consecutive spaces using non-breaking spaces WHITELIST CONTROL The extension only runs on sites you explicitly add to its whitelist. Facebook and Instagram are pre-configured. Add or remove any domain from the popup at any time. Every other site behaves exactly as it normally would — your pastes are untouched. MANUAL CONVERTER For sites you don't want to whitelist, the popup includes a paste-in/copy-out manual converter. Paste, click Convert & copy, paste the result anywhere. PRIVACY • No accounts, no logins, no tracking, no analytics. • No data is sent anywhere. Your settings (on/off, whitelist, paragraph-spacing option) are stored in Chrome's built-in sync storage so they follow your profile across devices. • The extension reads paste events only on whitelisted pages, transforms the text locally in your browser, and inserts it into the field.
