The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Lensy - Product Search by Image
Lensy helps you search for visually similar products from images you see while browsing the web or from images saved on your computer. Instead of manually describing an item with search terms, you can start from the image itself and review matching products on supported marketplaces.
Search products from images
When image search is enabled, the extension can show a small action button when you move your cursor over an image on a webpage. Select the image, choose a supported marketplace, and review visually similar product results without leaving your current browsing flow.
You can also capture a visible area of the current page when the item you want to search is part of a larger page, screenshot, or other visual content.
Supported marketplaces
Lensy currently supports product search on Amazon and AliExpress. You can enable the marketplaces you want to use and pin your preferred choices for quicker access.
Focus the search on what matters
Before searching, you can crop the selected image to focus on a specific item. You can also upload an image from your computer and use it as the search source.
Choose how closely results should match:
- Strict — prioritizes closer visual matches
- Balanced — balances similarity and variety
- Broad — expands the search to more related alternatives
Review product results
Search results are displayed inside the extension so you can browse additional results and review available product information. Depending on the marketplace data available, results may include:
- Product image and name
- Current or sale price
- Rating
- Marketplace
- Direct link to the original product page
When you find a result you want to explore, open its original marketplace listing in a new tab.
Price history on supported product pages
On supported Amazon and AliExpress product pages, you can open the Price History tool to review recorded price changes over time. Available views can include recent price information, lowest and highest recorded prices, and different time ranges, including a custom date range.
Price-history information depends on the data available for the selected product and marketplace.
Save products for later
You can save supported products to Favorites and return to them later. When available, saved items can display product information such as the image, name, price, rating, marketplace, and a link back to the original listing.
Useful image actions
While browsing, the extension can also provide quick actions for the selected image, including:
- Download the image
- Open the image in a new tab
- Start a search on a pinned marketplace
- Open extension settings
Control where and how the extension appears
You can customize the image-search experience from the extension settings, including:
- Enabled and pinned marketplaces
- Search matching mode
- Image search button visibility and position
- Chrome keyboard shortcut availability
- Websites where image-search tools are enabled or excluded
- Interface language
- Light, dark, or system appearance
The interface currently supports English and Vietnamese.
Account and search processing
Product search and Price History require a Lensy account and an active sign-in session.
When you start a product search, the selected image or image URL is sent to the service so the search can be processed and matching products can be returned. A search is initiated only when you choose a search action.
Marketplace product information can change over time and may not be available for every result.
