The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About LEARN MORE

LEARN MORE turns any web page into a launchpad for deeper reading. Click the toolbar icon and the extension pulls the most important topics out of the page you're on — the title, headings, meta description, and any text you've highlighted — and shows them as a short list. Each topic has three buttons: search Google, search YouTube, or open Wikipedia. It's built for quick, lightweight discovery. Reading a Wikipedia article and want to branch off? Watching a YouTube video and curious about a concept it mentions? One click surfaces the jumping-off points. Why you'll like it: • Minimal permissions — LEARN MORE uses only Chrome's "activeTab" permission. That's the narrowest scope a Chrome extension can request: the extension can read the current tab only when you click its icon, and has no access to any other tab, history, or site data. No host permissions. No background script. No content script running on pages you visit. • Zero network calls — topic extraction runs locally in the popup with plain JavaScript. The extension makes no requests to any server. Nothing you read or highlight is ever transmitted. • No account, no tracking, no analytics — nothing to sign up for and nothing collected. • Works anywhere — any article, blog post, YouTube video, or documentation page Chrome can display. • Tip: select text on the page before clicking the icon to get topics focused on your selection. Source of links: • Google search: https://www.google.com/search • YouTube search: https://www.youtube.com/results • Wikipedia search: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search LEARN MORE is free and does one thing well.
