Paste a website or URL and Layers Guard automatically creates the blocking rule. You can also start quickly using the built-in Recommended Websites list. ──────────────────────────── ⏰ Set website schedules Not every website needs to be blocked all day. Create schedules for individual websites so children can access them during appropriate times. For example: • Block gaming sites during homework time • Allow YouTube during the afternoon but not late at night • Restrict social media during school hours • Keep selected sites unavailable overnight Schedules run automatically. ──────────────────────────── 🌙 Bedtime Protection Set a daily period when Chrome web browsing is restricted. Content Protection can help identify categories such as: • threatening or violent language • bullying and insults • sexually explicit content • suspicious stranger interactions Choose between Standard and Strict sensitivity. When potentially harmful content is detected, Layers Guard hides it and records a safety alert for the parent. The detected text itself is never saved. No detected messages or page text are uploaded to a server. ──────────────────────────── PARENT CONTROLS ──────────────────────────── 🔑 PIN-protected settings Parent Controls are protected with a 4-digit PIN. The PIN is securely derived and stored rather than being saved as plain text. Parent Controls automatically lock again after inactivity, helping prevent children from changing settings when a parent leaves the page open.
