Last Tab Toggle

⚡ Stop hunting for your last tab. Jump back in one keystroke. Why does this exist when Chrome already has tab shortcuts? Chrome's default shortcuts (Ctrl+Tab) only let you cycle through tabs in order, side-by-side. If you are comparing a tab on the far left with a tab on the far right, or tabs in completely different windows, Chrome forces you to use your mouse or spam Ctrl+Tab. Last Tab Toggle solves this. It adds a single keyboard shortcut (Alt+Q / Option+Q on Mac) that remembers your history and instantly flips between your current tab and the one you were just on — no matter where they are. ✅ Works across windows, not just the same one ✅ Fully customizable shortcut via the built-in popup ✅ 100% private — no data collected, no network requests, ever ✅ Tiny footprint — no bloat, no ads, no tracking ✅ Survives service-worker restarts (your toggle history is never lost) Perfect for developers, researchers, writers, or anyone who constantly switches between two tabs. How to use: 1. Install the extension 2. Press Alt+Q (or Option+Q on Mac) to toggle back to your last tab 3. Press again to return — it's that simple Customize your shortcut anytime from the popup or via chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
