About Kondor Wallet
Kondor Wallet is a self-custody browser wallet for the Koinos blockchain. Create or import a wallet, manage your accounts, and connect to Koinos dApps from Chrome.
KEY FEATURES
• Koinos tokens — Hold and send KOIN, VHP, and other Koinos tokens, with balances and prices.
• Multiple accounts — Create multiple accounts from a single recovery phrase and switch between them.
• dApp connectivity — Connect to Koinos apps like KoinDX, Kollection, Fogata, and Koinscan. Choose which accounts a site can access and review signing and transaction requests before approving. Manage or revoke connections in settings.
• Side panel and popup — Use Kondor as a quick popup or keep it docked in Chrome's side panel while you browse.
• Encrypted backup and restore — Export a PIN-encrypted backup and restore it in Kondor. Built-in reminders help you stay backed up.
CLEARER SITE APPROVALS
• See the requesting site, account, and network before approving a request.
• Review supported transaction details and mana requirements, including KoinDX liquidity requests.
• Choose your own mana or sponsored free mana where available.
• Check recent Site Activity during the current browser session and recover pending approval requests.
• Approval windows open near the upper-right corner of the requesting browser window.
SECURITY
• Local encryption — Private keys and recovery phrases are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from your PIN via PBKDF2.
• Self-custody — Your private keys and recovery phrase stay on your device. Kondor cannot recover them for you.
• Flexible locking — The default requires unlocking new wallet windows and locks after inactivity. Optional shared unlock sessions keep wallet views unlocked for a chosen period or until you lock the wallet or quit Chrome. Transaction authorization remains separate.
• Explicit approvals — Signing and transaction requests require your confirmation.
GETTING STARTED
1. Install Kondor Wallet.
2. Create a wallet or import an existing recovery phrase or private key.
3. Set a PIN or passphrase to encrypt your wallet.
4. Back up your recovery information and keep it somewhere safe.
5. Visit a Koinos dApp and review its connection request.
Use Koinos Mainnet for real assets or Harbinger for testing. Keep your PIN, recovery phrase, private keys, and backups private. The Kondor team will never ask you to share them.
