KnowHow Capture Companion

KnowHow Capture Companion turns a real workflow into an interactive software simulation. Open a software simulation in KnowHow Admin, switch to the application you want to teach, and start capturing. As you work, the companion records each click, text entry and keyboard shortcut together with a screenshot of the screen, and sends them to the open editor as editable simulation steps. Review, reorder and refine the steps, then publish the simulation as a course in KnowHow. What it captures • A screenshot of the visible screen before each action • The control that was clicked, with its position on screen • Text entered into fields, with the final value • Keys and keyboard shortcuts pressed Built for privacy • Password, new-password and one-time-code fields are never recorded and are masked in screenshots • Applications can mark any region private with a single attribute • Only the tab you explicitly choose is recorded, one at a time • Nothing is sent to third parties.
