About KeePlugin
KeePlugin is a browser assistant for the staff of the company that publishes it. You describe a task in plain language in the Chrome side panel, and KeePlugin carries it out on the current web page, step by step, while you watch.
What it does
• Reads the page you are on: its structure, visible text and, when needed, a screenshot.
• Clicks, types, selects options, ticks checkboxes, scrolls and switches tabs, showing a cursor on the page as it works and listing every step in the side panel.
• Finds tables on a page, reads them (including long, scrolling tables) and exports them to an Excel file.
• Puts a file you attach in the side panel (drag and drop or the paperclip) into a page's upload field. The upload goes from the extension straight into the page.
• Skills: you can install skills from a file or from an HTTPS address you enter. A skill adds instructions and can add scripts for a particular website.
• For steps its built-in tools cannot do, the assistant can send Chrome DevTools commands to the page, including running JavaScript it wrote.
• Exports a diagnostic log of recent conversations to a file, or uploads it to the company's support service when you click Upload.
You stay in control
• Approval mode: "Ask every time" asks before sensitive actions such as submitting, deleting, downloading, closing tabs, DevTools commands that change something, and skill scripts that change a page. "Allow all", the default, runs them without prompts and lists each one in the task's steps. You choose in Settings.
• Sign-in pages, CAPTCHAs, passwords, passkeys and payment steps are always handed back to you.
• While KeePlugin operates a tab, Chrome shows its standard "started debugging this browser" bar. You can stop a task at any time.
Requirements
• A company account. KeePlugin signs in through the company's single sign-on at keeai.keetapp.com; without signing in it does nothing.
• A model endpoint that speaks the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions or Responses API, with your own API key. You enter both in Settings.
Your data
• While a task runs, the page content KeePlugin needs (page structure, text, form values, screenshots, table rows, and the text of attached Word or Excel files or attached images) is sent to the model endpoint you configured, and nowhere else.
• Your API key is kept only for the current browser session. Conversations, settings, skills and attachments stay in the extension's local storage.
• Sign-in shares your company account name with the company's service. Diagnostic logs are sent only when you click Upload, are redacted first (no API key, tokens, cookies, password-field values, screenshots or attachment contents), are kept for 30 days and are readable only by administrators.
• No data is sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone else.
